The rewrite on There Abideth Hope has begun. YIPPEE! Already through the 2nd chapter and going strong.
~While attending Circle Campus in Illinois, Lynne Temple witnesses the murder of one of her professors, masterminded by the villain only known as The Piper. Although his accomplices are convicted, The Piper escapes.
After finishing her nurse training, Lynne serves in the military. When she decides to start her civilian life on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, she falls in love, but also experiences déjà vu. An attempted murder at the hospital where she works. Circumstances lead Lynne to suspect The Piper is involved.
While a big storm brews off the Gulf Coast, rebellious teens, rave parties, human trafficking all add to another dangerous period in Lynne’s life as she and her boyfriend try to help the authorities find the kidnaped teens and capture The Piper.~
Human trafficking, teens involved in rave parties, drugs, total disregard for life itself is part of today’s news. Hopefully, in drawing attention to these subjects and showing how God works in the lives of His children, no matter how difficult the circumstances become, I hope to bring light the growing problems in our society. This had been a request from a pastor friend in Pensacola, Florida, who worked with Search and Rescue. My intent is also to show that no matter how much the devil tries to ruin our lives, God will not allow anything to happen to His children, unless it’s in His will.
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
Below is the old cover for the 1st edition. Haven’t started work on the new cover as yet.
Paths of Righteousness is on the market
If you missed my book signing at River Oaks Bookstore, you can still purchase any or all of my novels there or on Amazon.
The bookstore and their staff are very knowledgeable about books. Check them out and have a cookie or two. They have books galore. You’ll want to wander the tables and aisles.
River Oaks Bookstore is east of the Galleria on Westheimer. 3270 Westheimer (Westheimer at River Oaks Blvd.) Houston, Texas 77098. 713/520-0061
A Very Present Help, His Perfect Love, and Paths of Righteousness are there waiting for you.
The best little bookstore in town, in my opinion. Truly charming. Reminds me of the little bookstore in the old movie “You’ve Got Mail” or the story Shop Around the Corner. See for yourself.
